Hello! from the new intern
Hi! My name is Keri-Anne Roos and I am the new public relations intern at MANGO-OMC. I am currently in my third year, studying towards my public relations qualification at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Just as Christelle said in her first post, I could write an essay about who I am, where I come from and what led me to study this wonderful subject, but instead, I will continue to inform you about the life of a working student throughout the upcoming posts.

First things first, I would like to say how incredibly excited I am to be working for MANGO-OMC and how eager I am to gain the necessary experience through my time spent here. Public relations is such a dynamic and changing industry. It’s always out with the old and in with the new and I think that it’s really important to stay on top of things so that you don’t fall off the bus. However, as fast paced and challenging as the PR industry may be, I believe that it’s one of the best, if not THE best, industries to work in.

As a PR intern, I intend to provide you with various tips and some advice on how to handle the huge leap from being a full-time student, to practically a full time employee, while studying. As well as presenting you with advice and tips, I hope that my journey as a PR intern can encourage, uplift and motivate you to become the best you can be.
All it takes is a little hard work and sacrifice.
Until next time!
Keri
