My first week in the working world of PR
My first week as a PR intern at MANGO-OMC has been better than I expected. I was extremely nervous to be starting a full-time job, as I thought it would be very different from being a student. Luckily, we started the new working year two days earlier than most people returned to their offices. That helped me ease into my new adventure as an intern.
In only a week, I have realised that time management is going to be critical when I return to university in March. As I will be working the majority of my time at MANGO-OMC, I will need to ensure that I complete my final year with flying colours, as well as do everything to the best of my ability at work. Juggling these two very important responsibilities is going to be tough, but very worthwhile and doable; I can already see that this experience will benefit my future.

I have been exposed to many new aspects of the working world, especially in the Public Relations (PR) industry. In my two years of studying, I have gained the necessary knowledge about PR, but I have now been able to put that knowledge into practice. I honestly feel that theory without practical work is extremely ineffective.
I have only been working at MANGO-OMC for a short while, and I am already immensely excited about the year ahead and all the possibilities and challenges that lies in front of me.
