Melkbos Care Centre – an exceptional NGO doing good in the Melkbos community and surrounds

During our recent office move, we did a clean-out of electronics and decided to donate usable items to an NPO which we felt were contributing positively to the communities of Cape Town in helping and uplifting our youth.

Melkbos Care Centre is a non-profit organisation based in Melkbos that cares for orphaned and underprivileged children affected by HIV/AIDS and substance abuse homes. The centre is a lifeline for some whose parents aren’t able to care for them and provide them with their basic needs.

The centre provides services such as washing the children’s clothing, feeding their tummies and providing an environment and assistance suitable for them to complete homework. They take the children on fun excursions as well as transport them to the doctor when they are sick.

MANGO-OMC are happy to have supported such a great initiative and we look forward to helping out in the near future.
