BRIEF AND REQUIREMENTS

The Eco-Logic Awards take place annually and recognise individuals, organisations and communities that positively contribute to a sustainable world. MANGO-OMC was contracted to assist with the communications around the Awards in 2013 and 2014.

The budget was very tight, with the specific mandate being to secure coverage for both the event and the event sponsors.

COMMUNICATION ACTIVITIES

  • Active involvement in stakeholder management.
  • Liaison with the entrants and winners.
  • Built strong relationships with environmental, news and lifestyle media.
    Blogger and influencer collaborations.
  • Media partnership negotiations.
  • Content generation across releases and articles.
  • Event management (programmes, scripts and more).

RESULTS

Some of the results (as of november 2020) and over a  3 month period of time.

  • An AVE of R3,832,776.13 in 2014.
  • A reach of 2,283,428 in 2014.
  • A project ROI of x 49.
