Simplify.hr introduces SA-focused recruitment software
Simplify.hr has introduced a locally focused, applicant-tracking system that the company says is created by the same team that has built the Careers24 online job portal.
According to the company, which is a member of the Naspers family, Simplify.hr is a software application that enables the electronic handling of recruitment needs by tracking, screening and filtering job applicants. Tailored specifically for the local market, the solution is targeted at in-house recruitment teams of local SMEs who want to ease their hiring process workload.
It uses local features which include built-in black economic empowerment reporting and integration with SA’s leading job boards to create automated summaries of candidates, based on their resumes. The candidate platform has built-in recruitment marketing tools which distribute vacancies to a host of free and premium platforms including job sites, social media sites and company career portals.
The platform, according to the company, allows all communication with both prospective candidates and the hiring team to happen from within the platform which means there is an easy- to-manage record of all interactions. In essence, the platform is built for collaboration which results in transparency and accountability for the hiring team.
Recognising the importance of employer branding, the application also offers a fully functional career site builder, complete with employer branding functionality, without the need for further development.
“With Simplify.hr we have aimed to bring world-class technology to the South African market at a fraction of the cost of some of the more expensive global platforms. We firmly believe that good recruitment practice is the cornerstone of a successful business and that simplifying these processes can only add value,” concludes Privett.
Eugene de Beer, co-founder of digital recruitment platform, LinkdPro, says human resources (HR) experts are capitalising on the use of the latest technology to speed up the processes of finding the most suitable candidates for a job position.
Advancement in technology has made it significantly less cumbersome for talent managers to find “A-team” players.
Companies and HR departments that have adopted leading digital solutions, such as applicant tracking systems, artificial intelligence services, data analytics and more, have had great successes in reinventing their recruitment processes while prolonging their lifecycle.
Technology has saved companies time and money by illuminating duplication of effort and streamlining the recruitment process, while giving talent managers great insight into who a candidate is both professionally and socially,” he asserts.
